Medication Management

dr appt.webp

Psychiatric medication management is an outpatient treatment that involves the potential diagnosis of the patient and their need for psychotropic medications. The initial evaluation usually takes around an hour. The prescriber will create treatment plans and prescribe medication(s) if they feel it is necessary to aid their mental health. The patient will then follow up with their provider a month later to evaluate and adjust medications as needed. Follow-up appointments usually last around twenty minutes. Once the patient is on a successful regimen, they will follow-up with their provider every three months at our office. We do offer telehealth follow-up visits, but patients do need to be seen at least once a year in the office for vitals.
